5. pressare il raccordo (B) utilizzando l’apposita ganascia di

pressatura a pro

filo E di Eurotis seguendo le istruzioni d’us

e le avvertenze fornite con i prodotti della linea ePRESS

.

La deformazione controllata del raccordo sul tubo, generata

dalla compressione della ganascia, impedisce lo s

filamento

delle parti accoppiate. La tenuta idraulica è invece assicura

ta dalla compressione della guarnizione tra il raccordo e l

a

super

ficie esterna del tubo

.

With press-fitting system, joints on PLT-CSST tubes are per-

formed quickly, easily and securely. The result is a definitive

tube/

fitting joint since it is not possible to separate the ele-

ments and return to the original condition.

1. measure the length needed of the Eurotis PLT-CSST tube.

Take into consideration the 5 corrugations that will go inside

the fitting;

2. use a Eurotis pipe-cutter to cut the PLT-CSST tube in the

center of the recess between two corrugations;

3. mark the 5 corrugations needed to completely insert th

e

tube inside the fitting to be certain that the insertion is correct

4. insert the 5 final corrugations on the tube completely insid

e

the fitting;

5. install the Eurotis e-PROFILE jaw on the pressing tool ac

-

cording to the manufacturer’s instructions

.

The controlled deformation of the fitting and the tube gen-

erated by the compression of the jaw provides the necessary

mechanical sturdiness to the joint and prevents rotation and

detachment of the coupled parts.

The hydraulic seal is ensured by the compression of the gas-

ket between the fitting and the external surface of the tube
