RECOVERY - RECYCLING

REFRIGERANT VISUAL DIAGNOSIS

SPY-CHECK HVAC

Diagnosis instrument to check the quality of the refrigerant

Equipped with an integrally transparent cylindrical body, it allows the important visual

diagnosisoftherefrigerantinstantly. Itclearlyshowstheconditionoftherefrigerant,

the presence of any contaminants and the appropriate mixing with oils and additives.

It has two 1/4”SAE connections on both sides, one male with valve and the other one

swivel female.

ANALYSIS OF THE RECOVERED AND RECYCLED REFRIGERANT

Thanks to its 1⁄4”sae swivel female connection, SPY-CHECK-HVAC can be connected to one’s recovery unit, thus

allowing to check the recovered or rather recycled refrigerant.

It is possible to connect SPY-CHECK-HVAC to the only outlet of the recovery unit to check what is coming

into the bottle.

By using a second SPY-CHECK-HVAC connected on the suction, we can have a complete vision: on one side, we can

check the status of the refrigerant entering the recovery unit (refrigerant that comes from the system) and on the

other side we can check it after recycling by means of an EASYREC-R.

PREVENTIVE CHECK ON REFRIGERANT BOTTLES

SPY-CHECK-HVAC can also be connected simply to the refrigerant bottle, thanks to the bottle adapter,

supplied with it and thus allows a visual diagnosis of the refrigerant coming out of the bottle.

The device is also particularly suitable for checking the refrigerant mixtures containing R1234yf through a

small sampling. Due to the presence of polluted R1234yf, these mixtures can sometimes react with air and

create polymerization phenomena once out of the bottle; this can cause serious damage to the HVAC system

and the equipment used.

CHECK OF THE HEALTH OF THE HVAC SYSTEM (WITH “TOTAL VERSION”)

SPY-TOTAL-CHECK is the complete version, with two hoses and an extra element that turns the female swivel

connection into a second male connection, when needed.

Through these additional elements, SPY-TOTAL-CHECK can also be connected to the high pressure and low

pressure connections of the HVAC system and check its state of “health” directly.

The oil/refrigerant miscibility, the oil quality and the possible presence of contaminated water and particles

can be visually checked so that appropriate action can be taken subsequently.
