La durabilità dei sistemi di tubazioni CSST di Eurotis
I sistemi di tubazioni corrugate formabili di Eurotis soddi-
sfano i requisiti di durabilità previsti dal documento dell
a
Commissione Europea “Guidance Paper F - Durability an
d
the Construction Products Directive” che richiama la norma
europea EN 1990 “Eurocode - Basis of structural design
”
che per gli edi
fici e strutture similari definisce la categori
a
4 di vita di esercizio di progetto (ossia una vita di esercizio
indicativa di 50 anni) ed il documento guida EOTA 002 ch
e
per installazioni di categoria “normale” (ossia con 50 anni d
i
vita in esercizio) richiede l’utilizzo di prodotti con la seguent
e
vita in esercizio (durabilità)
:
•
prodotto riparabile e/o facilmente sostituibile (10 anni);
•
prodotto riparabile e/o sostituibile con maggiore dif
ficoltà
(25 anni)
;
•
prodotto durevole (non riparabile e/o sostituibile - 50 anni).
Purché vengano seguite le istruzioni ed avvertenze di mon-
taggio ed utilizzo fornite da Eurotis:
•
sia i tubi corrugati formabili in acciaio inossidabile che la rac
-
corderia in ottone hanno una durabilità di almeno 50 anni
;
•
gli elementi di tenuta sono facilmente sostituibili ed hanno
una durabilità di almeno 10 anni (a tale proposito si racco
-
manda di posizionare le giunzioni delle tubazioni in posizion
i
accessibili in modo da consentire un’eventuale agevole so-
stituzione degli elementi di tenuta).
Come specificato dal documento della Commissione Eu-
ropea “Guidance Paper F” la vita in esercizio del prodotto
dipende da molti fattori (progettazione dell’impianto, mo
-
dalità di installazione, condizioni di utilizzo, manutenzion
e
dell’impianto, etc.) che non dipendono direttamente da Eu
-
rotis e quindi la vita utile sopra dichiarata (intesa come man-
tenimento delle caratteristiche dei prodotti durante la vit
a
in esercizio in condizioni prevedibili e considerando la lor
o
naturale variazione ed escludendo gli effetti dovuti ad azion
i
esterne non prevedibili) non può essere interpretata come
una garanzia di Eurotis ma unicamente come una modalit
à
di scelta dei prodotti da utilizzare in funzione di una ragione-
vole attesa di vita in esercizio dell’installazione
.

The durability of the PLT-CSST tubing systems by Euroti
s
The pliable corrugated tubing systems by Eurotis satisfy the
durability requirements foreseen in the document “Guidanc
e
Paper F - Durability and the Construction Products Directive”
of the European Commission that refers to the European
standard EN 1990 “Eurocode - Basis of structural design” tha
t
for building structures and other common structures define
s
the design working life category 4 (i.e. an indicative desig
n
working life of 50 years) and to the EOTA 002 Guidance Doc-
ument that for “normal” category works (i.e. with a working life
of 50 years) requires the use of products with the followin
g
working life (durability):
•
repairable and/or easy replaceable products (10 years)
;
•
repairable and/or easy replaceable products with som
e
more efforts (25 years);
•
lifelong products (not repairable or replaceable - 50 years)
.
Provided that the instructions and warnings for assembling
and use given by Eurotis are followed:
•
both the pliable corrugated tubes in stainless steel and th
e
brass
fittings have a durability of at least 50 years
;
•
the sealing elements are easy replaceable and have a dura-
bility of at least 10 years (for this reason it is recommende
d
to place the connection of the tubing in accessible place
s
to allow a possible easy replacing of the sealing elements)
.
As stated in the document “Guidance Paper F” of the Euro-
pean Commission, the working life of the product depend
s
on many factors (plant design, installation modalities, work
-
ing parameters, plant maintenance, etc.) beyond the contro
l
of Eurotis so the working life above declared (intended as the
maintenance of the characteristics of the products during the
working life in foreseeable conditions and taking into consid-
eration their natural process of change by excluding the effec
t
of not foreseeable external actions) can not be interpreted
as being a guarantee given by Eurotis but only as a means for
choosing the products do be used in relation to the expected
economically reasonable working life of the installation.
