Per ottenere una perfetta giunzione, si devono eseguire alcune

semplici ma importanti operazioni.

1. TAGLIO DEL TUBO

Per prima cosa si deve procedere al taglio del tubo alla misura

desiderata. Per effettuare il taglio è consigliabile utilizzare un

tagliatubi o l’apposita cesoia, facendo in modo che il taglio sia il pi

ù

perpendicolare possibile rispetto all’asse del tubo stesso.

2. INSERIMENTO DELLA BUSSOLA IN OTTONE SUL TUB

O

Procedere quindi infilando la bussola in ottone facendo attenzione

che la svasatura interna sia in direzione del raccordo per favorirne lo

scorrimento sul tubo durante la fase di pressatura.

3. ESPANSIONE DEL TUBO

Calzare il tubo sulla testina ad espandere fino in battuta

.

Espandere per 2 volte avendo cura, di ruotare il tubo di circa 30° tr

a

la prima e la seconda volta

.

4. PRESSATURA

Dopo l’espansione calzare immediatamente il tubo sul raccordo e

mediante l’apposita attrezzatura procedere con la pressatura assial

e

fino alla battura della bussola contro la flangia del raccordo.

1. PIPE CUTTIN

First of all, cut the pipe to the desired length. A pipe cutter or shear

the cut must be as perpendicular as possible to the pipe’s axis

.

2. BRASS BUSH INSERTION ON THE PIP

Proceed by inserting the brass bush making sure that the internal

countersink is facing the fitting to facilitate its sliding onto the pip

e

during the pressing operation

.

3. PIPE EXPANSIO

N

Fit the pipe onto the expanding head until it stops

.

Expand twice, being careful to rotate the pipe about 30° between the

first and second time.

After expansion, immediately fit the pipe onto the fitting and using

the appropriate equipment proceed with axial pressing until the bush

abuts against the flange of the fitting

.
